Veronica received a locution from Our Lady-words heard in the intellect, but without actually seeing Her. Our Lady announced that She would come to Her chosen sacred grounds at the old Saint Robert Bellarmine Church on the eve of all feast days, and directed that a sanctuary be built there, to be called Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers. Veronica was given directives for its construction, and was told she should speak with the clergy and ask them to prepare for Our Lady's first visit to Her sacred grounds, which would occur on June 18, 1970.
